At Estancia Santa Maria, we craft small-batch, estate-grown olive oil from the heart of Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley. This region’s warm days, cool nights, and signature coastal fog create a perfect microclimate for cultivating olives rich in flavor and complexity.

We grow six olive varietals on our land—four Italian (Pendolino, Leccino, Frantoio, and Maurino) and two Spanish (Sevillano and Arbequina)—each chosen for its character and contribution to our Italian and Spanish blends. All of our olives are hand-harvested and cold-pressed to preserve their natural integrity, resulting in vibrant, unfiltered extra virgin olive oils.

The name Estancia Santa Maria honors our daughters, Maria Sofia and Maria Giada. It also reflects the legacy of their paternal grandfather Luciano, who once tended olive trees as a hobby near Lake Garda, Italy, and their maternal heritage that hails from the olive-rich landscapes of Argentina.

Ours is a boutique operation, rooted in tradition and blooming into something new to share. We are a family growing up on this land—raising our children among the trees and pressing oil that reflects our story, one harvest at a time.
